We are looking for an Integrated Senior Project Manager (Digital) to join Barbarian.  The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to design, develop and deliver integrated technology and campaign experience solutions and services.

What You’ll Do:

Drive and apply project lifecycle via Agile/ Scrum methodologies 

  • Develop project plans with clear dependencies and multiple workstreams
  • Partner with account team to lead client meetings and educating clients on what is the best project process for the work and them
  • Maintain timelines by following deliverable progress against allocated hours and reconcile using weekly or monthly burn reports
  • Manage fast-paced projects by effectively prioritizing and re-prioritizing tasks for your team
  • Be able to customize project methodologies per project needs - know to bring in the right activities at the right time for the right work; sprint ceremonies
  • Be proficient and be able to ensure when using Agile/Scrum that all user stories are represented in management software, estimated properly, with proper issue type, descriptions, dependencies/relationships and acceptance criteria

 

Manage internal team and clients

  • Lead internal meetings and daily stand ups to drive to informed decision-making
  • Anticipate and effectively communicate project risk while promoting best-in-class user experiences and balancing client’s business objectives
  • Respond thoughtfully to incoming client requests and collaborate with the account team to provide insightful solutions as work is completed within the process framework
  • Experience with managing and partnering with other APMs and PMs

 

Act as an advisor

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness for team and client through a mutual understanding of business objectives
  • Actively position oneself as a digital advisor, client advocate internally and an agency advocate with client
  • Create viable Scopes of Work, Change Orders etc and help to sell them through internally and with the client 
  • Identify areas of growth for client’s business while working on current projects



What You Need:

  • 5+ years of digital project management within an agency 
  • Managing and delivering a project from ideation to product/program 
  • Developing scopes, project approaches, and project plans that best meet the needs of the work and team
  • Track record of launching sites, products, and integrated/digital campaigns on time and on budget
  • Strength in creative problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Experience working under pressure and comfortable with change
  • Experience and confidence with medium-to-large scale integrated projects and campaigns
  • Knowledgeable with enterprise content management systems (CMS), such as Episerver, Sitecore and AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) a plus
  • Proficient knowledge of Jira
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of web, mobile and software technologies and user trends; experience working with modern front-end development frameworks a plus
  • An independent work ethic and drive while knowing when to escalate to
  • Strong organizational, communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or Workamajig a plus
