Can You...


  • The Sr. Producer at Barbarian will acutely understand the account and client process.
  • Candidates for this position must have experience producing content which could take the form of video, Animation, photography or audio as well as a strong track record of delivery across digital and social channels and platforms.
  • Oversee a roster of client accounts and assigned producers. You will be responsible for overall production leadership on those accounts, ensuring we have the proper staffing and training and that the quality of work meets Barbarian standards and client objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and change, able to focus on the smallest detail as well as drive a team to project completion, keeping the big picture in sight.
  • Cultivation of strong relationships with all internal departments including creative teams, technology teams, and account teams as well as industry partners.
  • Work with producers, technology directors, department heads and external partners to develop scopes, negotiate budgets and schedules and ensure that the work is delivered on time, on budget, and that projects are actualized, well documented, archived and closed.
  • Must be creative focused first and foremost with the ability to see the technical challenges and the foresight to solve for those challenges early.
  • Participate in the development of New Business, working with the New Business lead, ECD and or account director on pitches and proposals and ensure a smooth handoff to an assigned producer.       
  • Take ownership of departmental needs by spearheading new initiatives and mentoring junior producers.
  • Ability to motivate and engage the Production team to achieve the best possible result.
  • This role will require close collaboration with client, creative, and cross-functional teams.


Do You Have...


  • 10 years (or equivalent) in Production.
  • Knowledge and understanding of programming technologies, social platforms and expert knowledge of the interactive development process.
  • Demonstrated experience running large-scale engagements ($2M+) and leading interdisciplinary teams of more than 15 people.
  • Ability to produce web, mobile, Augmented and Virtual Reality, video, applications, installations as well as a thorough understanding of emerging technologies.
  • Albeit to source and manage best in class production partners.
  • Recognized ability to manage tradeoffs effectively among schedule, scope and budget on a single project, and to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
  • Strong strategic and functional problem solving skills, strong organizational skills, strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to inspire, support and understand the interplay between people, processes and systems. The candidate must have the ability to lead a team to a desired result
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and client relationship building skills.
