We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager/Senior Project Manager, who thrives in the cross section of creativity and technology, to join Barbarian. The Product Manager will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to design, develop and deliver solutions with a focus on digital performance marketing.

 

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Lead the team in implementing Agile methodologies and practices
  • Adapt Agile methodologies to the context of the agency to client relationship 
  • Work with creative, technical, UX and strategy leads to manage the project lifecycle from end-to-end
  • Continuously optimize the product and roadmap, manage prioritization and trade-offs on customer requirements, market landscape, and industry trends
  • Manage multiple fast-paced projects with short turnarounds
  • Successfully produce and deliver integrated projects and workstreams
  • Prioritize workflow for an amazing team of strategists, creatives, technologists, and account services to ensure deadlines and client needs are met
  • Actively position oneself as a digital advisor, client advocate internally and an agency advocate with client
  • Develop timelines and budgets (scopes/SOWs) to ensure proposed concepts and ideas are executable
  • Monitor project resource allocation, hours and burn reports and provide on-going project risk management
  • Respond quickly to incoming client requests, and proactively communicate the status of those requests
  • Thrive in a highly flexible, adaptive, creative, collaborative and interdepartmental environment, alongside multi-disciplinary peers with the ability to leverage multiple perspectives as pillars for innovation
  • Identify areas of growth for the business
  • Successfully articulate digital solutions and/or processes in a simple and engaging way (both internally and client-side)

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of product management experience 
  • 5+ years work experience managing projects with Marketing and Advertising Technology (e.g. DMP, DSP, SSP, DCO, CDP, CMS, DAM etc.) 
  • Experience managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Adobe Experience Cloud implementations prefered 
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.) and proper application integrating methodologies into project
  • Preferably at least one project management certification(s); such as, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Project Management Institute's (PMI) Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification, SAFe® Agilist
  • Strength in creative problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Experience with managing medium-to-large scale development and campaign projects from scope to delivery
  • Experience and knowledge of Strategy, Experience Design, Visual Design and Development best practices
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of web, mobile and social channels 
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Ability to identify gaps in process and define solutions
  • Experience with interpreting client requests and concepts into clear/defined deliverables 
  • Experience with presenting approaches and solutions to internal and external parties
  • Previous experience managing clients in a digital agency with project management focus
  • An independent work ethic and drive and know when to escalate to management
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional agency environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication skills, both oral and written
