We are looking for an awesome Project Manager, who loves all things Internet, to join Barbarian. The Project Manager will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to design, develop and deliver campaign projects, digital projects, and integrated solutions/services.


Our ideal candidate has a love/love relationship with web culture. They understand, and constantly stay up-to-the-nano-second on the latest trends. And they have strong opinions about music and pop culture. 


Can You:

  • Manage multiple fast-paced projects with short turnarounds
  • Successfully produce and deliver integrated projects and workstreams
  • Prioritize workflow for an amazing team of strategists, creatives, and account services to ensure deadlines and client needs are met
  • Actively position oneself as a digital advisor, client advocate internally and an agency advocate with client
  • Respond quickly to incoming client requests, and proactively communicate the status of those requests
  • Thrive in a highly flexible, adaptive, creative, collaborative and interdepartmental environment, alongside multi-disciplinary peers with the ability to leverage multiple perspectives as pillars for innovation
  • Identify areas of growth for the business
  • Monitor project resource allocation, hours and burn reports and provide on-going project risk management
  • Work with creative, technical, UX and strategy leads from with department leads from identifying the scope through concepting and delivery, to ensure the most innovative production methods are employed
  • Develop timelines and budgets (scopes/SOWs) to ensure proposed concepts and ideas are executable
  • Describe oneself as a “do-er” and “planner” in project management with proven track record in project and time/budget management


Do You Have:

  • 2-4+ years of project management within a advertising agency
  • Strength in creatively problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Experience with managing medium-to-large scale digital and campaign projects from scope to delivery
  • Experience and knowledge of Strategy, Experience Design, Visual Design and Development best practices
  • Knowledge of Jira a plus
  • Familiarity of how Omniture,Tealium and Google Analytics work
  • Ability to identify gaps in process and define solutions
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile a plus) and proper application of them
  • Experience with resourcing and allocation management for projects
  • Experience with interpreting client requests and concepts into clear/defined deliverables and projects
  • Experience with presenting approaches and solutions to internal and external parties
  • Experience with financial management of projects
  • Previous experience managing clients in a advertising agency with project management focus
  • An independent work ethic and drive and know when to escalate to higher ups
  • Strong organizational, communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
